World's Greatest masculine card

Masculine cards aren’t always easy to make but Guy Greetings could provide the solution to your problems. I particularly love this tongue-in-cheek strongman image, so used it for a friend’s birthday. I created the frame using Chalk Talk Framelits; I die-cut the largest tag, then carefully cut around the ‘negative’, covering the V shape at the top with the “World’s Greatest” banner.

The background is simply strips of Adventure Bound DSP, layered and angled… purely because I couldn’t decide which sheet to use!

Finally, I hand-drew a beard, to personalise it for the recipient. Hopefully you can’t see the join!

Talking of masculine cards, I have a stamp-a-stack planned for May, where we will be making lots of those cards that you don’t like making, such as masculine cards, sympathy and get well. I thought we could take some of the stress away by making them together in a fun environment. You can find out more about this workshop by clicking here. Places are limited, so please don’t leave booking until the last minute!
