Box for note cards

This is the box to hold yesterday’s notecards. I simply measured the notecards on my grid paper, added a little space around them, then added an inch for the sides of the box. I made the vellum lid the same size; because it’s reasonably lightweight, there’s enough “wiggle room” for it to fit.

The interesting bit is the butterfly... this is made from silver glimmer paper which I dyed using Coastal Cabana reinker in a spritzer bottle, mixed with a little isopropyl alcohol so that it dilutes but dries quickly. Try it! It means you can make glimmer paper in any colour you choose!
