Storytime swaps

I still have lots of Convention news for you but not until things have calmed down a little and I've recovered from all the excitement.

These were some simple card swaps I made at the last minute and, like all last-minute projects, they turned out to be my favourites. I’m sure it helps that I absolutely love this stamp set and my new Chevron Folder. They were pretty economical to make, too – which has to be a factor when making swap projects. Each scallop circle of DSP was cut in half and poked behind the embossed panel so that just a few scallops showed.

These images are really easy to colour – I used Watercolour Wonder™ crayons (my favourite colouring medium) and blender pens. Just a scribble here and there, then blend with the pens using a circular motion and they’re done.

I’ll post the colour combinations, then the general recipe...

Cat: Midnight Muse, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise
Dog: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Real Red
Duck: Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, then see above
